Dr. Rios is a Cardiovascular Specialist.  His clinical interests include interventional cardiology, perioperative care & fetal echocardiography. 

He is a graduate of Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine and completed his Pediatric Residency at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Staten Island, New York and his Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans.

He is Boad Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology.

He speaks both English and Spanish.

Prior to joining our team at the Children's Heart Clinic, Dr. Rios built a strong reputation practicing pediatric cardiology for more than 15 years in Fargo, North Dakota.  In addition to practicing at our Minneapolis and St. Paul locations, Dr. Rios continues to provide care for patients in the Fargo and Grand Forks area.  He currently lives with his family in a northern suburb of the Twin Cities.
